On Saturday, February 26, 2022, CZO organization in support with the National Endowment for Democracy conducted the Zanko Forum of 2022 entitled “Empowering and Stimulating the Commitment of the Supremacy of Law among the Employees of Higher Education”.

Dr. Karwan F. Sami, Vice President of the University of Zakho for Students Affairs, represented the University of Zakho. He stated that the forum was conducted in the presence of members of Kurdistan Parliament, Ministry of Higher Education, other concerned universities and representatives of public and private universities. Moreover, university teachers and students, representatives of students’ organizations, civil society organizations specialized in education area, experts and specialists participated in the forum.

He also mentioned that the forum included the evaluation, rate of law implementation, quality and problems of higher education in Kurdistan Region through certain Journals, Panels, Report Publication and Open Discussions presented by the participants.
